Project X Media (PJX) is an award-winning, independent Out-of-Home media planning and buying agency. We partner with a diverse range of clients, from independent agencies of all types to leading and challenger-level brands. PJX brings brands'​ stories to life in the physical world by using its industry leading technology platform to launch Out-of-Home (i.e. billboards, transit/airport ads, etc.) advertising campaigns. We provide marketers access to every format of OOH inventory (digital and traditional) across the US, guiding the entire OOH advertising process — from audience-based planning, to production, proof of posting and more — to ensure seamless execution and success for every client campaign.


We are looking for:


PJX seeks an energetic entrepreneurial media sales professional with demonstrated success across identifying, sourcing, pitching, negotiating, and closing new client relationships.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and spearhead new business across key agency and client direct relationships; work with the media team to help cultivate existing relationships

  • Pitch sales opportunities while educating media buyers on the benefits of outdoor advertising and PJX’s services

  • Able to develop/manage multiple client relationships and clearly articulate strategic guidance internally and externally

  • Able to hit and exceed quarterly revenue expectations

  • Able to successfully communicate PJX’s value to different client departments (e.g., marketing, creative, digital, etc.)

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in a media/OOH sales role. 

  • Understand the OOH media market and how to plan impactful OOH campaigns.

  • A consistent and proven track record of growth and success in scaling a sales team

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams with exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Experience in outdoor advertising and an understanding in market trends, emerging tech and media measurement

  • A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or advertising
