Marketing Coordinator (Contractor)

We are looking for:


PJX Media seeks a highly motivated and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role as a project manager, ensuring content and marketing collateral is executed in a timely manner, while also overseeing the company’s social media accounts. The right candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as he/she/they will be hitting the “post” or “publish” button across our various channels. The Marketing Coordinator will be collaborating across all teams to ensure there is consistent messaging and expression of the company’s POV.  This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for marketing and storytelling. 


Core Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and oversee content creation, including writing, editing, and proofreading marketing materials such as website copy, blog posts, social media updates, and the monthly newsletters.

  • Collaborate with leadership to finalize blog posts related to industry tips and guides, thought leadership, etc.

  • Gather assets (links, photos, etc.) for our monthly newsletter/digest and launch via Mailchimp.

  • Manage and update company social media profiles and assist with community engagement. A minimum of 1-2 posts per week is expected, with a content rotation of blog posts, photos, industry stats or news, and our own "Bite-sized OOH" series.

  • Support the creation and distribution of marketing collateral, presentations, and promotional materials via Canva, Google Slides, and/or Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Work with internal teams (sales, media, production, etc.) to ensure consistent brand messaging, reflective of the company's passion for OOH and the organization's culture.

  • Collaborate with our web development/SEO team to identify trends and opportunities for content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in a marketing support role (internships will be considered).

  • Familiarity with out-of-home advertising. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slides). 

  • Regular user of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, SEM, email marketing).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proactive, self-starter with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, especially Mailchimp.

  • Experience with tools such as UTM.Io, Linktree, etc. 

  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

  • Experience with website builders and CMS platforms such as Squarespace and/or Wix.

Compensation: 

  • $24/hour - $28/hour

Additional Notes: 

  • This position is fully remote

  • West coast hours are preferred

  • This position is for a temporary part-time independent contractor only. Seeking candidate to begin July 2025 and complete work by December 2025
